DEPT® retains leading position in Prolific North Top 50 rankings
DEPT® has retained its podium place in Prolific North’s 2022 ranking of the Top 50 Digital Agencies, placing 4th overall and 1st in Manchester.
The PN Top 50 is the definitive list of the North’s leading digital agencies working across web development, mobile, e-commerce, SEO and PPC. To provide an accurate barometer of the performance, results are independently confirmed and anchored on financials based on balance sheet/shareholder funds, turnover, pre-tax profit, headcount and growth.
Brian Robinson, DEPT®’s UK Managing Director, said: “The industry has gone through an enormous evolution the past couple of years, but throughout it all it’s been pedal to the metal at DEPT® – as these results show. We were crowned Large Digital Agency of the Year at the PN Champions Awards and this latest ranking further establishes our standing.
“Key highlights of the last year include expanding our team with the acquisition of FEED/DEPT®, bringing 2,000 Depsters together across four digitally-connected DEPT® Fest events in London, Amsterdam, New York and Mar del Plata, and delivering some incredible digital solutions for longstanding and new clients; all while continuing to maximise the positive impact we have on the world. Here’s to the next 12 months!”
As well as delivering a series of pioneering work for long-term clients including Nikon, London Marathon Events and Triumph Motorcycles, the UK team won numerous competitive pitches to add END., World Health Organisation, Superdry, Weir Group and the British Heart Foundation to its client roster.
To fuel its growth, the agency is currently hiring for more than 20 roles across multiple specialisms including design and UX, development, strategy and operations.
Globally, as part of the agency’s aim to become the best agency both in and for the world, DEPT® scooped 16 wins and was crowned the Webby Awards’ Global Network of the Year, united its teams under one brand, embarked on rapid growth across the US with the acquisition of 3Q and Raybeam, and has retained its climate neutral status.
