DEPT® wins gold at UK Dev Awards
DEPT® achieved a podium finish at the 2021 UK Dev Awards, scooping the award for ‘Best Deployment of a CMS’ for its work with St. James’s Place wealth management (SJP).
DEPT® beat stiff competition from CTI digital and kitty to take home the top prize, which recognises the exceptional work DEPT®’s technical team has delivered for SJP.
SJP is Britain’s largest wealth management firm, delivering services through thousands of independent businesses (Partners) operating under its umbrella. SJP turned to DEPT® to build them a centralised solution for managing content at scale across thousands of sites, whilst allowing Partners to express their own voice. DEPT® applied its expertise in large scale content management to develop a solution that meets the complex requirements of SJP’s large organisation.
DEPT® took a headless approach, implementing SDL Tridion to provide flexible, multi-site management at scale. A separate system was built to manage dynamic data, and Salesforce CRM was also integrated. SJP now has a strong technical architecture and base platform built in .NET. The digital framework supports the future of SJP’s Partnership programme, with a strategy to scale up its Partners alongside the business. It adds strength to its brand with unification across its entire digital estate, as well as ensuring compliance.
DEPT®’s technical solution enables SJP to manage +5000 websites from a single content management system.
Brian robinson, UK managing director, said, “DEPT® and SJP have worked together for over two years on this solution, and it’s one of the largest and most complex projects DEPT®’s UK team has ever undertaken. We are extremely proud of the solution we have delivered; it’s proven to be a game-changer for SJP, saving them time, money and accelerated their digital business to ensure that they, and their Partners, are future-ready.”
Other winners included DEPT®’s client bright horizons, who won B2B website of the year for The Parental Leave Toolkit; an online platform for both managers and individuals to supporting and coaching them through parental leave and return to work .
