Hello Monday (part of DEPT®) wins Creative Achievement Award

Hello Monday (part of DEPT®) is this year’s biggest digital winner at the Danish Creative Circle Awards. The agency, who joined DEPT® in March 2022, didn’t just take home the prize for Best Digital Agency, its four founders were additionally awarded the prestigious Creative Achievement Award for their services to the design industry.

The Creative Circle Award was established in 1992 with the purpose of rewarding outstanding achievements within advertising, design, digital and direct marketing. Each year, the association recognises the best creative ideas and their creators, honouring them with gold, silver and bronze prizes.

As the CC Award is known for being extremely strict in their selection criteria, it is by no coincidence that it is also the most coveted award for creative communication in Denmark.

At the 2022 edition of the CC Award, Hello Monday (part of DEPT®) scooped the prize for Best Digital Agency, and the prestigious Creative Achievement Award was awarded to its four leaders:  Johanne Bruun Rasmussen; Jeppe Aaen; Anders Sønderby Jessen, and Andreas Anderskou.

In the words of the Creative Circle jury: “ They have put Denmark on the world map. Together they have done what many have dreamed of. They are known for their work for international brands such as Google, Intel, YouTube, and National Geographic. They are risk takers. They work in an exciting field where technology meets communication without forgetting the artistic side. Time and time again, they help make the world a better place through fantastic creative solutions.”

Johanne Bruun Rasmussen, co-founder and partner at Hello Monday (part of DEPT®), is humbled by the honours her team received this year: “Creative Circle is one of our favourite competitions. The jury members are all from the creative industry and are extremely skilled. In the digital categories the focus is on the idea, design, and code-craft. That is why we take it as a huge pat on the back whenever we go home with a Circle trophy.”

Apart from the Best Digital Agency and Creative Achievement Awards, Hello Monday (part of DEPT®) also won gold and silver awards for several of their client projects: “This year, we were lucky enough to get six gold medals for Fingerspelling, but also four other projects we did for clients can now call themselves a Creative Circle Award winner. And we have kept our promise of keeping the creative bar high,” said Johanne.
